Importance of Girl child Education:

Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Educational methods include storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, and directed research. Education frequently takes place under the guidance of educators, but learners may also educate themselves. Education can take place in formal or informal settings and any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts may be considered educational. The methodology of teaching is called pedagogy.

Education is commonly divided formally into such stages as preschool or kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and then college, university, or apprenticeship.

A right to education has been recognized by some governments and the United Nations. In most regions, education is compulsory up to a certain age.Follow us on Facebook.

“We are organising the walk to increase awareness on problems a girl child is facing. Through this walk, we aim to promote girl education and eradication of child marriages among other issues. About 10,000 girl students are expected to participate in the event along with the women from all walks of life,” said Achyuta Rao, a child-right activist.

Students opinion:

“The walk is an encouragable move as we know in day to day society on how women are deprieved of education and many other comforts compared to boys, more such walks should erase the inequality among males and females” said Navya Reddy a student who is studying her medicine in Kamineni Hospitals.

The organizers gave a call to school and junior college managements and asked them to encourage girl students studying in their organization to take part in the event which will begin at 8.45am.
