Applications for UPSC CDS II are now open on UPSC website

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications on upsc.gov.in for the positions of Junior Technical Officer, Junior Scientific Officer, Deputy Legislative Counsel, Principal Officer and Lecturer among several other posts. Interested candidates should check further details on the UPSC’s official website, which is upsc.gov.in.
Eligible candidates can apply for the said positions on or before August 30, 2018.

Applications open for Union Public Service Commission CDS Exam

The online application process for the Union Public Service Commission CDS Exam has started online on the website of UPSC. The candidates who want to apply will make sure that they read all the instructions carefully. The candidates can only apply on the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Candidates are advised to fill all entries correctly and selecting options. The fields marked with * in the CDS 2018 application form are compulsory.

Once the online application form for the CDS II Exam 2018 will be submitted, candidates won’t be eligible to make any changes in the application form. The candidates must retain the mobile number and email Id entered in the online form for the CDS II exam 2018. Candidates can fill the application form in English only, however, the form is available in the Hindi language also.

The filling of the UPSC CDS II 2018 exam application form consists of two steps – Part 1 Registration and Part 2. In the first part, candidates will have to enter the basic information. In the Part 2 Registration, candidates will have to select the examination center, uploading of Signature & payment of application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee via SBI net banking or by cash in SBI or via credit card & debit card.

Educational Qualification

1-Candidates applying for Junior Technical officer post should have a Bachelor degree.
2-Candidates with Master degree are eligible to apply for Junior Scientific Officer, Scientist B, and Lecturer posts. Similarly, Degree holders can apply for Deputy Legislative Counsel, Chemist, and Metallurgist posts.

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories will have to shell out Rs 25 as application fee.
