Telangana Government to launch database site for Land records.

HYDERABAD: Telangana government has decided to launch database site for Land records to initiate a land database system and integrated land information through a website called ‘Dharani’ from March 12-2018. It also made its efforts to print 70 lakh pattadar passbooks at security printing press.The website works on the lines of core banking system and every transaction will be recorded and updated immediately, Gaining its digital form.

“The Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (IL&FS) has been entrusted the job of designing and maintenance of the website. Formal orders will be given soon. To begin with, the first level of services such as land mutation will be made available immediately after launching the website on March 12,“ said Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) director  Vakati Karuna.CM  K Chandrasekhar Rao earlier instructed the revenue officials to design a website which gives solution for all the land disputes present in Telangana region.Since land purification exercise has begun, he instructed the officials that all the land transactions have to be uploaded as soon as the registration takes place. Hyderabad might face a shortage of Drinking water this year.

Officials Note:

According to officials, the state government would spend about 116 crores of rupees for `Dharani’ website and a special IT team has finalized the requirements of the website by consulting revenue and registration departments.The website will contain never seen features like linking to new passbooks with GPS system and they can be tracked from anywhere in the world in a click. “Anybody can buy or sell the land from anywhere even from abroad,” a senior official from the revenue department said.
Tehsildar mandals would be given the responsibility of registrations of land. Even a training programme on land registrations has been started for tehsildars.They are strictly trained and instructed regarding the new website and upload procedures.  Follow us on Facebook.

Maintenance and Security Land records:

As soon as the final stage of software is ready, the land management system servers will be placed at the state data center at Gachibowli. Maintenance of land records will be operated by the data center.Sources said, since the land information is very essential it has to be protective and be secured properly with proper updates, both IL&FS and the state government have discussed ensuring safety and security of the land and a world-class security features are involved in protecting the info.
