HYDERABAD: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad, which is a recent establishment of tata group has seen 203 graduates at its fourth convocation ceremony.
According to a press note released by Tata Institute of Social Sciences authorities, Srinivasa Rao, director, National Academy of Agricultural Research Management attended as a chief guest at the event. He congratulated the graduating students and motivated them with his inspiring speech. Passing criteria rules changed for doctors.
The students were awarded their degrees from S Ramadorai, chairperson of the governing board. In his address to the students, Ramadorai said despite being a teaching institution, TISS students have been at the forefront of issues that the country has faced, and its an appreciable thing. Innovative Research projects:
The ceremony was held with more inspiring and motivational speeches, various activities also took place in order to entertain the gathering of the crowd and also other important reports were released. These include several collaborative efforts with governmental departments and non-governmental agencies. “Eight research projects were completed during the academic year and seven new projects are also underway,” said Siva Raju.
A wide range of courses:
Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad, offers undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, and MPhil programmes. The newly established institute is seeing a rapid increase in a number of students joining the institute and also the graduate percentage is 100 percent with less number of students.The institute is expected to see a number of students and the expansion unimaginable.It was established in the year 2015 with almost 100 students and today its 4th ceremony has 203 absolutely merit students.
