Professor Murali contribution to Solar cells:
Dr. Murali Banavoth is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in UoH. Dr. Banavoth will project his views on ‘Solar Energy’ in this meeting.He had his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science, India, he moved to King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) at Solar Center as a postdoctoral associate and carried out his passionate work in the field of hybrid functional materials for solar harvesting, which is his favorite subject. His contribution is enormous to the Solar Cells research, he had his own publications to name few in Nature, Advanced Materials, JACS, Angew. Chem., etc., and he is also currently the Editor of few prestigious journals like Frontiers in Optics and Photonics, Frontiers in Physics.He has always been a sign of excellence to the people around him.

His research includes various fields like organic, inorganic, and hybrid solar cells and photovoltaics. These achievements have all together paved way for Young Scientist Award for addressing and participating in BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) meeting.
