Made in India robot Mithra, Launched at GES 2017 by Ivanka Trump: US President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, arrived in Hyderabad on Tuesday, 28 November, to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit. It walked up to Modi and Ivanka, who were requested to launch the summit logo by the flags of their respective countries on the display one after the other. Over 1,500 delegates, including entrepreneurs and investors, CEOs of major knowledge-based industries, representing the full measure of entrepreneurial talent from diverse backgrounds across the world, are expected to attend the summit.NITI Aayog has taken the lead in organizing the event.

‘Make In India’ aims at bringing in Foreign Investment into India in the form of production plants, branches etc, to turn India into a core production hub. This will also lead to increased employment and which in turn will appreciate the capital assets of India. Hence it is an ‘invitation’ to major foreign ‘players’ to “come, Make In India ”

By ‘make in India’ statement he tends to invite more and more companies to produce in India which would benefit them by cheap labor and also to us by providing employment. This would also increase the foreign exchange in India which would lead to the increase in GDP of the country.

Benefits of increase in GDP

  1. As the GDP will increase the income of the people will increase
  2. As the income will increase the living standards will increase; and
  3. As the living standards will increase this would lead to more production to meet the demand of the people
