Hyderabad Literary Festival: Hyderabad Literary Festival (HLF) is an annual event that celebrates creativity in all its forms. HLF is a multi-disciplinary, multi-lingual event that draws over a hundred writers, artists, academics, scholars, publishers from India and abroad each year.

Hyderabad Literary Festival by Hyderabad Literary Trust

HLF 2018 is organized by “Hyderabad Literary Trust” in association with the Government of Telangana and with the support of several academic, literary, cultural organizations and publishing houses.

Started in 2010, the Festival has emerged as an important event in the cultural calendar of the country. It represents the rich and cosmopolitan ethos of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, as well as the vibrant culture of the modern Cyberabad.

HLF is a Festival for All. Its programme includes talks, conversations, panel discussions, readings, workshops, exhibitions, book launches, cultural programme, events for college students and school children.

Spain in focus in Hyderabad Literary Festival

Inviting a foreign country to showcase its literature, art and culture is a unique feature of HLF. Spain will be in focus at HLF 2018.

Indian Language in Focus
HLF pays special attention to one Indian language at each edition of the festival. Kannada is the language in focus at HLF 2018.  HLF will continue to highlight the need to sustain linguistic diversity, and HLF 2018 will have a session on endangered languages in Karnataka.
