Horticulture and Agriculture exhibition began in Hyderabad.

Horticulture and Agriculture exhibition Almost has  70 stalls, a truck of ‘Green Station’, one-stop for daily essentials offering locally grown fresh organic and naturally produced ones is a major attraction at the show.

Hyderabad: The fifth edition of All India Horticulture and Agriculture exhibition organised by Association of Event Organisers (AEO) began at People’s Plaza here on Wednesday.IGNIUM 2K18 – A national level technical fest at GNITS- 23rd and 24th Feb


Inaugurating the show at Peoples Plaza, Deputy Chief Minister, Mohammad Mahmood Ali said the State government was according top priority to horticulture apart from agriculture. “Chief Minister is also giving subsidies to flowers and fruits. However, awareness has to be created among the public about horticulture,” he said.

The five-day exhibition, which will continue till February 5, has more than 70 stalls and 57 nurseries from Dehradun, Bengaluru, Pune, Kadiyam (East Godavari) and Hyderabad.Follow us on Facebook.

Sanjay, the owner of Pune-based Sanjay Nursery, said that over 150 varieties of indoor and outdoor plants ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 3,000 were brought for the show. “Seasonals, cactus, exotic plants and fruits plants are the major attraction of the stall,” he said.

A huge collection of plants to encourage terrace gardening and vertical gardening were made available for the visitors. Apart from agriculture and gardening equipment, organic food stalls have been arranged along Paradise hotel.

According to Khaleed Ahmad of the Association of Event Organisers, nurseries showcasing different gardening methods and various plant collections from across the country have been set up at the show and would be open to the public from 9 am to 9 pm.

He said that special focus would be on the stalls from the organic food growers. Following the success of horticulture exhibition during the last four editions, this year the show will have latest technologies and innovations in the agriculture and horticulture industries, he added.
